About me

Systems, numbers and the design that connects them

Game Developer and Systems Designer with nearly three years of professional experience, specialising in game systems, balancing and data-driven design.

I work across gameplay mechanics, difficulty, rewards and progression, with a strong focus on the numerical systems underneath them — modelling and simulating a design until the numbers hold up, then building it.

I'm equally comfortable working inside a proprietary editor and directly in Unity/C# — whether that means authoring educational scenarios within an editor's system constraints, or writing the movement, combat and enemy AI for an FPS prototype.

    • Collaborated with Bohemia Interactive to design educational interactive lessons for primary-school students, built in a proprietary game editor running on Unity.
    • Designed gameplay logic, interactions, rules, progression and scenario structure within the editor's system constraints.
    • Delivered a series of educational lessons, including a larger interactive package teaching programming fundamentals through gameplay.
    • Core programmer and mechanics designer on a five-person futuristic FPS, working in Unity/C# across gameplay systems, movement, combat and enemy AI.
    • Owned gameplay parameters and balancing — tuning difficulty, enemy behaviour and combat pacing against playtest feedback.
